Such rules may change over time, may not be enforced fairly, and may differ depending on the currently active members and the phase of the moon. People we like will probably be allowed to get away with more crap than new people or people we find irritating.

-The [[users:dcraig|channel owner]] believes in giving people enough rope with which to hang themselves and is quick to "addpeon" new visitors, "addop" regular users, and increase the access levels of current ops over time. Each user has free reign to make use of the commands available at their access level, which includes the ability of coowners and managers to add and remove other users at their discretion. The channel owner feels that if a user has difficulty behaving responsibly as an op, he probably isn't well suited to be in the channel at all.

-If I ever opened a trampoline store, I don't think I'd call it Trampo-Land, because you might think it was a store for tramps, which is not the impression we are trying to convey with our store. On the other hand, we would not prohibit tramps from browsing, or testing the trampolines, unless a tramp's gyrations seemed to be getting out of control.
