====== Updated Tutorial for using Login-on-Connect (LOC) and Server Password with Hexchat ======


For version 2.9.6 and above, Hexchat now includes a dropdown list for Login Method.

In the Password field, enter your /username/password. The Login Method can be set to Default or Server Password. While either should work, I recommend setting it to Server Password as [[http://wiki.znc.in/HexChat|certain documentation]] has stressed that it is necessary.
